Devon Robinson joined the McLean Guard Program as a choreographer in 2018 and has been around ever since. Excited to begin a new role as the Director of Color Guards at McLean, Devon will bring more than a decade of experience with the activity. He began performing with the Unity Reed (Formerly Stonewall Jackson) High School Color Guard in Manassas, VA and later marched Stonewall Independent A & Open, George Mason University Open & World, The Bluecoats, and Onyx Winter Guard.
In addition to accumulating several finalist placements and several silver & gold medals in AIA, WGI, DCI, and OIPA, Devon has previously directed the Unity Reed High School Winter Guard Ensemble and served as a designer & choreographer at George Mason University Winter Guard and many high school programs in Virginia.
Devon received his B.S. in Mathematics from Virginia Tech and remains an active performer/ educator of color guard in the Northern Virginia area. In his spare time, Devon enjoys theatre performances, dancing, good food, and the occasional puzzle!
